The Curriculum...

Founded over 25 years ago in America, the ACE School of Tomorrow curriculum has stood the test of time and fierce opposition. Concentrating on effective methods from the past, it is being used in thousands of schools and many thousands of home schools in over 100 different countries worldwide. It is a complete, godly and individualised curriculum. A child may start with the Pre-school programme and finish with College level material, receiving an International Certificate of Christian Education.

The A.C.E. curriculum begins with the Reading Readiness programme designed for non-readers. This multi-sensory, phonetic learning to read programme is designed to prepare a child for the individualised instruction of A.C.E.

The basic curriculum, which all children are required to study has five core subjects: Mathematics, English Grammar/Literature, General Science, Social Studies and Word Building.

Before entry to the school, children are individually diagnosed to identify "gaps" in their education to date. As a direct result of the diagnostic testing, children are set individualised workbooks to remedy revealed weak areas and are then prescribed curriculum at just the right level of difficulty for their particular stage. Within a short transition period, usually a few weeks, children learn to set their own daily goals and to work quietly on their own. They are frequently assessed and rewarded. Students learn to memorise scripture and learn and practice godly character traits.

School of Tomorrow is academically sound, individualised and achievement orientated. Christian educators and classroom teachers with advanced degrees in education and classroom experience produced the A.C.E. curriculum. The materials are in harmony with the Bible and are high tech, using computer technology.
